Expect the unexpected at Target

When shopping, for lets say bathing suits, you usually say to yourself, where can I find the best style? You look online or on social media for inspiration. Instagram models will have bikinis on from popular companies like Roxy, Triangl and Victoria's Secret. Those suits could go up to $100 or even more! Sure you can spend that much money on it, but wouldn't you want to get one that's cheaper in the same style? Although you expect a discount store like Target to have food and home products, don't underestimate the power to the Bullseye when shopping for apparel.

There have been many times where I've gone to Target for my clothes, whether it's jackets, jeans or bathing suits. I got this one jacket from Target and I'm obsessed with it. I talked a little bit about it in my NYC "What's in my bag for a spring afternoon in NYC" post, but I'll tell you a little more.. It's the perfect length where you could wear it with any kind of outfit-jeans, skirts or dresses. You wouldn't think that a jacket like this would come from Target, so you will get to see that persons face when you tell them you got it at Target for $28. For me specifically, anything army green will immediately catch my eye, so this was an easy must have. The comfort of the jacket is also a huge factor in purchasing something like a jacket. This is super lightweight and soft because of the fiber Tencel, which is made from wood pulp and is environmentally friendly. So, with buying this jacket you not only will look super cool but also help our planet Earth - how does that make you feel?

Another thing you may consider after this is, could I be buying my jeans from Target too? I was rummaging through my closet and I found something that I think you all should know. There was a pair of jean from Target that looked EXACTLY like a pair from Abercrombie and Fitch. They both have similar wash and the same fringes on the hem. Just take a moment to look at this, you could spend $88 on a pair of jeans OR get them at Target for $27.99. Think about how much you could save, you could get 2 pairs of jeans at Target and have 10 dollars left over. It's an easy decision to make now that you know!

One thing I always get asked in the summer is, "Where do you get your bathing suits?" And, if you haven't already guessed, I get them from Target! I actually plan a visit to Target first before going anywhere else for my bikinis. When I go, I always end up finding so many I like that eliminating them is extremely difficult. I like their bikinis because look like they could be from one of those popular stores, but they aren't! I actually bought one triangl bathing suit from the real website and one from Target, and I liked the one from Target more! I think it is because they always fit me so well that I've got to go back. Since the Triangl bikini is made of neoprene, it's difficult to be comfortable in after getting wet. Targets Triangle bathing suits are made of nylon and spandex and are super comfortable to wear in the water. They also have new bralette bikinis which are the cutest bathing suits ever. I ended up getting two of the tops because everywhere I've seen them, they are like $70, but these are basically $20. I also like how you can mix and match. Target's bikinis don't come in sets, so you get to choose which bottoms you like with which tops. I usually get the plain tops with the patterned bottoms.
