XOXO Gossip Girl

For anyone that watches the Gossip Girl series on Netflix, they most certainly know what the Empire Hotel is. They know about how the famous Chuck Bass fights his way to become the owner of this fabulous hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Empire Hotel (actually on the Upper West Side of Manhattan) is one of the coolest hotels to visit or stay at. Of course it is classy being that it has to keep up with the elite status of the Upper East side, but on top of that, it had so much publicity from Gossip Girl, so everyone knows about it. That's how I found out about it myself. When I first walk into the hotel, I instantly recognized the entire dimly lit lobby from Gossip Girl. The seating area that leads to the bar that Blair Waldorf and Nate Archibald once sat at only makes a fan like me want to sit there too. Then upstairs, there is "Ed's Chowder House" where Serena Van Der Woodsen and Dan Humphrey ate, which serves amazing calamari and paninis, along with the appetizer of macaroni and cheese, which is also super good. After finishing a "Chuck Bass" meal, you can go to the rooftop, where technically only guest can go, but you can go up anyways. There are lounge chairs out laid out the entire rooftop, along with a small pool, which if you've watched Gossip Girl, you'd know it was the pool where Blair held her pool party in the earlier season. From up top, the view of the city is absolutely amazing. My favorite part of the Empire Hotel would have to be the "Empire Hotel" sign that is shown on the rooftop because I think it describes the whole mood of the hotel. I have never personally stayed at the Empire Hotel over night, but it is a destination on my trips.  I suggest it's a hot spot you should not pass up. XOXO Gossip Girl.
